How we handle the personal data you share with us when planning an event or visiting this website.

What data we process

Event enquiries (contact form, e-mail, phone, WhatsApp): name, e-mail address, phone number, event type, preferred date, approximate number of guests and your message.
Event organisation: details needed to prepare an offer, contract and invoice.
Website use: technical data such as IP address, browser and time of access, recorded in our hosting provider’s server logs.

Purpose and legal basis

Answering your enquiry and preparing an offer – steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Organising and invoicing your event – performance of a contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
Security and operation of the website – our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Showing Google Maps – only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who receives your data

Hosting: Infonet (infonet.hr), Croatia – hosts this website.
Form delivery: enquiries sent through our contact form are forwarded to our e-mail inbox by the service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). This service may process the data outside the EU.
Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) – only if you load the map; Google may transfer data to the USA.
Accountants, IT support and authorities – only where necessary or required by law.

How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to an event are deleted at the latest 12 months after our last contact. Data related to contracts and invoices is kept for as long as Croatian accounting and tax law requires (generally 11 years). Server logs are deleted after a short period by our hosting provider.

Cookies

We use only storage that is strictly necessary for the website to work, including remembering your cookie choice. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. External content such as Google Maps is loaded only after your consent. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings. Fonts are hosted on our own server.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing). To exercise your rights, write to events@dorangerie.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb – azop.hr.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page.
